Dhanush came up with a blazing start as spoilt brat in his debut vehicle Thulluvatho Illamai which made all youths go gaga over him followed by another golden touch Kadhal Konden potraying a character of spectacled nerd suceessfully leaped him into a higher league in Tamil filmdom taking him to heights of grabbing cinema express award.
This time the actor has once again proved his credentials in much awaited comic caper Thiruvaliyadal making our hearts flutter and tame us off our seats.
The story begins with Thiru(Dhanush) complete gizmo freak who whiles away his time with his buddies(Karunas & Sukumar) proving to be the best. But the world thinks too small about them. Thiru's parents (Mouli & Saranya) too have less hope for his future. During family tiff Thiru is forced to quit from the house in search of peace.
He casts his eyes on pretty lass Priya(Shreya), loving kid sister of rich buisness magnet Guru(Prakash Raj). Thiru plays tricky opting to strike riches he tells that he loves Priya. But Guru,tries all the ways to destroy his desires and challenges him to move completely and pays him hefty price. Thiru's master mind is to spin the money as well as win his dream girl. The rest of the crux narrates how the hero proves his bravery art making the girl's brother litreally go weak after him.
The director must be crowned for coming with such a hilarious subject which is a delight for the visitors. Dhanush has given incredible performance carrying a role of prankster with ease. He gels off well with Prakash Raj as possesive brother is ever bankable. Shreya kicks off with sensational looks.
Imman's music is endearing and blends well the movie. Especially the remix track has slowly climbed the charts and is already a huge rage with youngsters.
Boopathy Pandian is here to stay for making a clean family entertainer after a long sabbatical. On the bottom line a neat film always works sans vulgarity and glamour when you watch it with your family.
