Thamirabharani - Flows

Film maker Hari who has penchant for churning unusual fare of high voltage family saga, has striked up with full hearted effort to walk down to soul of rural tradition with Thamirabarni scoring his innings with the vintage of lush era of locales to greenery glacid water falls fresh from bewitching Thirunalveli and daring Madurai which is set on the banks of the river Thamirabarni. It is slick and entertaining with action and humour interspersed with all the ingredients necessary for today's audience.

The story centers around Barani(Vishal),agressive college goer who flexes his torso and wallops every bad man with care-a-damn attitude,is totally devoted to his uncle Salt Saravanan(Prabu). Prabhu, Vishal and his mother(Rohini) stay like close knit family. Villagers staying in that place just treat them as their deity.

Taking on tough competetion equally is another royal tie-ups P.V.S.family run by (Nadhya, Vijaykumar & Naseer). In the mean time love is on air for Banu(Nadhya's daughter) and Bharni who is supposed to be childhood sweet heart. As the situation narrates Sakunthala(Nadhya) break up relationship with her husband Sarvanan due to his terrible affinity towards his sister Rohini, the two call it quits.

The crux of the plot involves how the two young hearts re-unite the incongruous relationship between split partners and patch up the two torn family respectively.

Hari has made the canvas of the family feel the transparency of showing promising movements just flourishing ample to tell a complete family saga with credible characters and moods.

Vishal is full of panache and spontaneity stands tall in fighting sequences like press on button. Debutant Banu looks bulky all around needs to pay attention to her make-up and garish costumes. Seasoned performers Prabu and Nadhya provide exceptional backing to the script as the role demands their rivalry is complete blaze of the movie. The rest of the casts Naseer, Vijay Kumar, Manorama supports the movie and do justice to their roles.

Yuvan's music is loud and foot tapping and makes the listeners rooting for more. The camera and technical aspects are quite appreciable while tear jerking inexplicable sibling bond is delight for family lovers. On the bottom line lengthy film by Hari is done with sheer dedication, providing some touching movements with out vulgarity and obscene.
